Short notes on what changed in VedaSpace. Currently on v1.5.1.

    Exams layout & installed-app open

    • Exam rewrite filters no longer crash into the section subtitle on mobile.
    • The installed VedaSpace app opens into the portal (not the public homepage) — predictable for everyday class use.

    Unsubscribe feedback & clearer brand name

    • Leaving the quiet updates list now opens a short tap-only goodbye form (about 30 seconds).
    • Emails show as “VedaSpace” in the inbox, and search branding signals ask Google for VedaSpace — not the bare domain — as the site name.

    Branded emails, weekly nudge, clearer legal

    • Class emails now carry the VedaSpace mark and display typography.
    • Merge suggestions use email similarity only — same name alone never merges two people.
    • A gentle weekly reminder can go to people who have not joined a class or returned to the portal (opt out anytime).
    • Privacy, Terms, Cookies, and Disclaimer updated for email notices and related practices.

    Merge look-alike student accounts

    • When the same name has nearly the same Gmail (dots or a small typo), teachers can merge the pair in one tap — enrolments, attendance, sadhana, and the reading summary move onto the account they still use.
    • Same name with unrelated emails stays a flag only, so two different people are not merged by accident.

    • Install VedaSpace from the portal menu and home screen — easier to find than hunting for it on the public homepage.

    • Students list flags the same display name on two accounts, and teachers can remove a leftover signup from the student page.

    • Class notices can email enrolled students when Mataji posts (exam dates, cancellations, rewrite replies too).
